Tamboran begins Beetaloo sub-basin drilling campaign

**Tamboran Initiates Drilling Campaign in the Beetaloo Sub-basin**

Tamboran Resources Corporation has embarked on a significant drilling campaign in the Beetaloo sub-basin, marking a crucial milestone in the development of Australia’s gas reserves. This ambitious project involves the spudding of multiple wells to tap into the potential of the Mid Velkerri B Shale, which is expected to support Tamboran’s proposed 40 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) production target in the Shenandoah South Pilot Project.

**Operational Details**

The drilling campaign involves not only the commencement of new wells but also the use of advanced technology to enhance stimulation intensity and efficiency. Tamboran has partnered with Liberty Oilfield Services, known for their state-of-the-art stimulation fleets, to deploy the Liberty frac fleet. This fleet can complete more stages per day compared to its predecessors, significantly boosting the deliverability of gas from the wells.

The drilling program includes the spudding of the Shenandoah South 2 (SS-2H) well, which is being drilled approximately 3 miles north of the Shenandoah South 1H (SS-1H) well. Following the completion of drilling, Tamboran will immediately proceed with drilling the Shenandoah South 3 (SS-3H) well, both using the Helmerich & Payne (NYSE: HP) super-spec FlexRig Flex 3.

**Production Timeline and Future Plans**

Once the drilling and flow testing are completed, both wells will be suspended as future producers. Initial flow test results are expected in the first quarter of 2025. Production from the Shenandoah South Pilot Project is anticipated to commence in H1 2026, pending final stakeholder and regulatory approvals.

This drilling campaign represents the largest single campaign in the Beetaloo Basin to date, with each well featuring up to 120 stimulation stages. The strategic partnerships with key stakeholders like H&P have equipped Tamboran
