**Brazos Midstream Advances Permian Gas Processing, Gathering Buildout Amidst Strong Production**
In a strategic move to bolster the critical infrastructure of the Permian Basin, Brazos Midstream Holdings LLC has made significant strides in expanding its gas processing and gathering capacity. The company, backed by substantial equity commitments from investors like Old Ironsides Energy and Encap Flatrock Midstream, has leveraged its financial strength to aggressively grow its footprint in the region.
**Mechanical Completion of Sundance I Plant**
The latest milestone achieved by Brazos Midstream is the mechanical completion of its new 200 MMcf/d Sundance I cryogenic gas processing plant in Martin County, Texas. This installation, which is poised to begin commercial operations in October 2024, marks a key step in enhancing the company’s infrastructure in the Midland Basin. The Sundance I facility is part of Brazos Midstream’s broader strategy to provide reliable capacity for historically underserved Permian gas production.
**Infrastructure Expansion in Midland Basin**
In addition to the Sundance I plant, Brazos Midstream is nearing the end of constructing approximately 175 miles of high-pressure natural gas gathering pipelines ranging from 16 to 24 inches in diameter. These pipelines span across Ector, Howard, Martin, Midland, Glasscock, and Reagan counties in the Midland Basin. Once completed, the expanded gathering system will total around 260 miles of pipelines and include 10 compressor stations in the region.
**Long-term Acreage Dedications and Producer Partnerships**
Brazos Midstream’s expansion plans are supported by more than 125,000 acres of long-term acreage dedications from its upstream producer customers. This commitment underscores the strategic relationships the company has established with its producers to ensure a seamless operation.
