**Brazos Midstream Accelerates Permian Gas Processing and Gathering Expansion**
Brazos Midstream Holdings LLC, a prominent player in the Permian Basin’s midstream sector, has made significant strides in its operational expansion. The company has completed the construction of a grassroots natural gas processing plant, the Sundance I cryogenic facility in Martin County, Texas, which boasts a processing capacity of 200 million cubic feet per day (MMcfd). This new facility is slated to commence commercial operations in October 2024, marking a critical milestone in Brazos Midstream’s strategy to enhance its infrastructure in the Midland Basin.
**Comprehensive Midstream Infrastructure Development**
Brazos Midstream’s expansion efforts extend beyond the Sundance I facility. The company is nearing completion of approximately 175 miles of high-pressure gas-gathering pipelines, ranging from 16 to 24 inches in diameter, spanning key counties in the Texas Midland Basin, including Ector, Howard, Martin, Midland, Glasscock, and Reagan counties. Once operational, this new infrastructure will substantially upgrade Brazos Midstream’s Midland basin system by integrating about 260 miles of gas-gathering pipelines and 10 compressor stations.
**Strategic Expansion**
To accommodate forecasted production growth, Brazos Midstream has also announced plans to build a second cryogenic gas processing facility. Scheduled for startup by the end of 2025, this new 300 MMcfd plant will significantly boost the company’s overall processing capability to 500 MMcfd.
### Strategic Partnerships and Financial Strength
Brazos Midstream’s advancements in the Permian Basin are underpinned by strategic partnerships and robust financial support. The company’s affiliate, Brazos Midstream Holdings III, is backed by investments from Old Ironsides Energy, Encap Flatrock Midstream, and Brazos management, among others.
