### Brazos Midstream Advances Permian Gas Processing and Gathering Buildout
In a significant move to bolster its operational footprint in the Permian Basin, Brazos Midstream has completed the construction of a groundbreaking natural gas processing plant and is in the final stages of completing associated new-build gas-gathering infrastructure. This strategic expansion underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing its midstream assets in the region.
#### Highlights of the Project
**Mechanical Completion of Sundance I Plant**
Brazos Midstream, a prominent player in the Permian Basin’s midstream sector, has announced that it has reached mechanical completion on its new 200-MMcfd (million cubic feet per day) Sundance I cryogenic gas processing plant in Martin County, Texas****. The facility is set to commence commercial operations in October 2024, marking a crucial step in the company’s efforts to address the increasing demand for gas processing in the Midland Basin.
**Expansion of Gas-Gathering Infrastructure**
Additionally, Brazos is nearing completion of approximately 175 miles of high-pressure gas-gathering pipelines and associated midstream infrastructure****. These pipelines, spanning across Ector, Howard, Martin, Midland, Glasscock, and Reagan counties in the Texas Midland Basin, are expected to expand the company’s overall gathering pipeline network to around 260 miles. The infrastructure also includes 10 compressor stations, which will significantly enhance the operational efficiency and capacity of the gathering system.
**Future Expansion Plans**
To accommodate anticipated production growth, Brazos Midstream has revealed plans to build a second cryogenic gas processing facility with a 300-MMcfd capacity****. Scheduled for startup by year-end 2025, this new facility will boost Brazos’s overall processing capacity in the Midland Basin to 500 MMcfd. This expansion aims to meet the increasing demands of upstream producers in the region.
