**Tamboran Initiates Pioneering Drilling Campaign in Beetaloo Sub-Basin**
In a significant move within the Australian onshore oil and gas sector, Tamboran Resources Corporation has commencing drilling operations in the Beetaloo Sub-Basin. The venture, marked by the spudding of the Shenandoah South 2H (SS2H) horizontal well under exploration permit 98, signifies a major milestone for the region. Partnered with Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd., this joint endeavor aims to unlock the vast potential of the underexplored Beetaloo Sub-Basin.
**Unveiling the Campaign**
The drilling program, led by Tamboran as the operator (with a 77.5% working interest) and Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd. (with a 22.5% interest), is set to be the largest single campaign in the Beetaloo Sub-Basin to date. Following the initial SS2H well, the team will immediately proceed to drill the Shenandoah South 3H (SS3H) well from the same well pad, leveraging the same H&P super-spec FlexRig.
Each well will include a substantial horizontal section of approximately 3,000 meters, targeting the Amungee Member B-shale at an estimated target depth of 3,020 meters. The drilling process is expected to take 30 days for each well, with both projects relying on advanced technology to maximize efficiency and performance.
**Liberty Energy’s Contribution**
To enhance the stimulation process, Liberty Energy’s frac fleet is being mobilized from the United States to Australia. This modern equipment is designed to significantly increase the completed stages per day and optimize gas flows, thereby enhancing the overall deliverability of the wells.
The stimulation program will involve up to 60 stages per well, utilizing Liberty Energy’s advanced fleet that is capable of material increases in stimulation intensity. This focus on efficiency is crucial for ensuring optimal production outcomes and meeting the ambitious target of producing
